Regardless of the extension in the deadline and method of obtaining votes- it was a good run for all involved. Big ups to the dedicated kids who pulled through and spliced a cool video. I'll check you guys later.

Ha...I'm the one in 11th, so I'm kind of partial to your idea, "suggestion," but would it be fair within the rules? Probably not.
Too bad I'm on spring break this week, or I could have gone to the computer lab and pulled off a 300-vote miracle like some of the other competitors. (Well, I only actually needed 20...) Oh, well.
And no, I don't consider that cheating. The rules clearly tell you to "vote for yourself," and it doesn't say how many times, either. I think the other competitors just used the resources they had available.

I am actually embarrassed to be posting my opinion because I feel like this a has turned into a chat room full of a bunch of disrespectful teenagers (for the most part... props to those keeping it classy!). However, I would like to make an seemingly obvious suggestion about choosing the finalists that has not yet been brought up.
I am personally supporting someone in the top 10, however due to the fact that there is such a small difference in votes between 10th and 11th place and such large gap between 11th and 12th place, I think it would be fair that the top 11 should be considered. thoughts???

rules are rules. sorry that either u or ur friend didnt make it to the top 10. u shoulda did more to get more votes. i do find it funny how some vids just miraculously got like 300 votes just overnight to put them into the top 10 right at the last second. why didnt that happen earlier in the week? cheaters never prosper. the 1 minute rule is ****. id rather watch the entertaining 2 minute vids over some of the crappy 1 minute vids.

First, to who said they can't make a cool video because of money...it doesn't take a lot of money, it takes creativity. Some of the best were done without much. Secondly, I agree with 'wondering'. Will they eliminate those that were over 2 min. and such? And yes, some top 10 videos aren't the best, but some were awesome and creative and entertaining...but it was about voting. That's how it goes.

Actually..... I don't know anyone who is trying to be a redbull first person...... I've just watched the videos and know that some of the videos in the top 10 suck compared to the videos in the 15.....what is everyone afraid of the competition??? it would make it more interesting.

Interesting conversation on considering the top 15. If they stick to the top 10, do you think they will also stick to the 1-minute restriction? i.e. do you think they'll eliminate those that didn't follow the rule that clearly stated that the video was to be of 1 minute duration?

Ryan Burns should definitely not be the Red Bull first person. He showed no athletic prowess, very little enthusiasm, and a distinct lack of creativity. He did, however, make it to the top ten. Whether he did by fair means, or by a loophole in the system, it matters not. He is there, and that will not change. But those who share my dislike for this arrogant contestant can take solace in knowing that Red Bull will most likely reject his pathetic attempt at victory. The true winners are the one's who other people regard as "cool". Ryan Burns; you may consider yourself cool, but don't be your own herald. Anyway, congratulations on making it to the top ten, Sir Ryan. This is obviously something you wanted to do, and you've made it happen. That's worth something. Best of luck to you.

The vids that were put in late we're nice, some were well deserving on being Redbull's next first person, but some of them... not so much. Anyways top ten could be better, but what ru going to do eh. I think that Hodgens, Natalie, Schumacher, should definitely move on. Even though I lost to them, they are definitely redbull material all the way. On another note, I don't even know how that Ryan Burns kid made even the top 20 let alone top ten *lame*

I agree with JS. The people who completed their videos on time worked hard to get their videos in by the original deadline. If an exception was made for them, then exception can be made for the other five people.

Yes. I rallied for a friend to get our friends and family to vote and also think the top 10 is fair. Everyone came into the competition knowing to expect top 10. Of course there are decent and not so good videos both in the top 10 and within the rest of the submissions; this part is about the public voting.

I think that person who suggested that red bull should select the top 15 videos obviously has a friend who is or they personally are not in the top ten. The people who got into the top ten worked EXTREMELY hard to get there and they should not be discriminated against just because somebody thinks it isn't fair that they weren't chosen. If the person who suggested this was number 9 there would be no way that they would want the judges to pick the top 15, it just gives them less of a chance of winning. I think that the judges should stick to the rules that were originally laid out when the competition started and not ***** the people in the top ten just because somebody is going to be a sore ***** and complain. The votes speak for themselves.

Why change the rules now? I'm sorry if you barely miss the cut, but the rules were announced ahead of time. I'm not a contestant so maybe I think differently, but I think those who were voted top 10 should stay that way.

I think that the coroporate redbull judges should look at the top 15 votes instead of only the top 10..... there are a few videos that did not quite make it into the top 10 videos that are really good ......and some that are actually better than the videos in the top 10.....I think some of the people who barely didn't make it into the top 10 would make amazing Red Bull first persons!!!
